It's been weeks since I last updated my blog.....I have been so busy making cards and keeping up with the orders plus I was also busy with the new blog I set up especially for my bead craft. Below are some few new card designs that I made recently for a new customer of mine. She loved the design I made for SGC003 (blue colour) as you can view here
It was a big order and she decided to have them in a variety of colours. So I gave it a go and came up with all these new colour combinations for SGC003. It now comes in colours of peach, yellow, beige, soft green and soft pink too. I packed them up 5 pieces in a packet with their handmade envelopes. It was quite a tough task to do this design in the amount of order requested.....I thought that it would be easy....never did I imagine the load of work that needs to be done for such a simple design. Layers and layers of heart shape paper was needed to make the main design and that itself has taken so much of my time. It indeed was a learning process for me, and I managed to come up with some ideas of how to make them at a faster speed. As you can see, some of the designs I managed to take their photos in a much better angle but some I didn't have the time to do so......so I just snap them before posting them to my customer.....so that's why you see some of them in their plastic packaging hehehehe...........sorry people.....I will upload new photos of them as soon as I can!

Soccer Dad...
FD003
Looks like I went button crazy again with this design hehehe......but it looks just right for the soccer ball motif since it has a round shape too! :) This design is especially for those fathers who loves soccer so much! A black and white colour choice that was inspired by the soccer ball itself....the inside of the card is left blank for your own personal wishes for your dear father.

Another similar design pattern for Father's Day.....simply titled DAD......the inside of the card is left blank for writing personal wishes....I love the colour combination here....the tile like pattern really stands out from the dark green background colour. The olive green coloured paper is just so sweet. All the square patterned paper are hand cut from a template I made myself. Even the word DAD is hand cut from a template...quite tricky but managed to pull through in the end hehehe..... :)
Happy Father's Day....

Wow.....I've been so busy making beaded bookmarks lately that I have been neglecting my card making....I guess the beads really got to me hehehe.....how can it not...they are just so much fun to play with......well today I am posting this Father's Day card that I would like to share here. I guess with this project I got button crazy hehehe! Love using the the different coloured buttons to decorate the card :). I also wanted to use the new craft punch I got recently, it's a leaf motif....so cute...I've been searching for this pattern for quite sometime now and recently I bumped into it when shopping for new stuff. Inspired by the chess board and a mixture of ceramic tiles was what came to mind when searching for ideas......weird huh? Oh well! hehehe! I don't have a father to give this card to now, because my father passed away years ago.....this blue colour combination card is dedicated to him because he loved blue colours, just like me.... :)
