My first engagement invitation card

EI001

Phew! Finally all of the engagement invitation cards are done! Painstakingly made with lots of care and love as always. :) This engagement invitation card was custom made for a customer of mine from Sarawak. I almost wanted to turn down the order since I was afraid I couldn't get them all done on time.......but my customer managed to persuade me hehehehe......LOL

It looks like a simple design right? Nothing too fancy but when I got down to doing it in a large quantity I realized how hard it is to make them all by myself. This was a real challenge for me.

What I do love about this card design are the tag at the bottom of the card that has the initials of couples, with the gold strings on it too.....and the punch out engagement/wedding rings are so cute as well.....luckily I bought that craft punch when it was available at the store, so I can use it for this design and not have to cut out the rings one by one by hand. Ouch! That would have really hurt my hands. hehehe....

This invitation card comes in a postcard form. So there is only enough space for writing on wordings and no space for a map. It's simple, straight to the point and it delivers the message. :)
